Shadow Minister for Arts, Culture and National Heritage

Justin Schembri is a Member of Parliament elected from the 8th District, first elected in the 2022 general election, where he was appointed Shadow Minister for Education.

He also served as Minority Leader in the Birkirkara Local Council.

He is 44 years old and is in a relationship with Annalise Galea, a local councillor in Ħal Balzan. They live in Birkirkara. He is the father of Lexi, who is 14 years old.

He is a teacher by profession and graduated in Maltese, Communication, and Politics. Besides politics and education, he has a strong interest in the Maltese language, identity, and culture.
