About the MP
Assistant Whip and Shadow Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Supply
Architect Toni Bezzina first contested the general election in 2013 and was elected from the 5th District on behalf of the Nationalist Party. He went on to contest and was re-elected in the 2017 and 2022 general elections. He has served as Shadow Minister for Transport and Infrastructure, Shadow Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries, and as a member of the Standing Committee on Foreign and European Affairs. He currently serves as Shadow Minister for Transport, Agriculture and Fisheries, and is also a member of the Committee for Gozo Affairs.
In 2004, he graduated as an Architect and Civil Engineer from the University of Malta. He later continued his studies at the Mediterranean Academy of Diplomatic Studies, where he obtained a Master’s degree in Diplomatic Studies.
Toni is the principal partner at ACB Architects and has also worked with the Roads Department, Transport Malta, and the Public Works Department. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience in various fields related to architecture, civil engineering, and road engineering, particularly in the design and implementation of large-scale national projects.
He is married to Josette (née Catania), and together they have a daughter, Deborah, who is married to Brandon Cilia.
