About the MP

Shadow Minister for Youth, Wellbeing and the Implementation of the Electoral Programme

Eve Borg Bonello began taking part in public life at the age of 14. In 2022, with a campaign budget of €500, she was elected to the Maltese Parliament at the age of 18, becoming the youngest Member of Parliament in Malta’s history. As Opposition Spokesperson for Climate Change and Public Cleanliness, she has led several initiatives during this legislature, including raising awareness about how climate change affects different aspects of everyday life and launching a public consultation along with a set of holistic proposals for better waste management.

Alongside her parliamentary and political work, she is continuing her studies in law at the University of Malta, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree and is now finalising her Masters. She aims to keep doing what she believes in, turning ideas into action for the benefit of citizens.
