PN Leader Alex Borg visits Freshers’ Week at the University of Malta

Education remains the foundation of society and the Partit Nazzjonalista has a clear responsibility to remain close to students throughout their academic journey because they are the generation of the future.

The Leader of the Opposition and of the Partit Nazzjonalista Alex Borg said this during a visit to the University of Malta for Freshers’ Week, as hundreds of young people join other students to begin their academic journey.

During the visit, Alex Borg toured stands organised by the students themselves, as well as those of a number of organisations, where he met students and educators and wished them every success in their academic journey.

Students shared with the PN Leader a number of challenges they are facing in their daily lives, including the cost of living and accommodation, employment opportunities and the quality of education.

Alex Borg encouraged students to make their voices heard and to harness the potential of their ideas so that they too can play a leading role in shaping the country we want to build for future generations.

For this visit, the PN Leader was accompanied by Deputy Leader of the Partit Nazzjonalista Alex Perici Calascione, as well as Shadow Minister for Education Jerome Caruana Cilia, Shadow Minister for Youth Eve Borg Bonello and the Spokesperson for the Research and Innovation George Vital Zammit.
