PN Leader Alex Borg discusses the vision for employers and workers with the Malta Employers
The Partit Nazzjonalista is presenting a vision which, among other things, regenerates the labour market. A vision that gives A Fresh Start to both employers and workers, from large companies to small businesses and micro-enterprises.
This was the message delivered by Partit Nazzjonalista Leader Alex Borg when he met the Council of the Malta Employers, where he explained the economic vision being presented by the Partit Nazzjonalista, including the need for our country to continue strengthening its competitiveness.
Alex Borg reiterated that a new Government led by him would ensure that more quality jobs are created and that bureaucratic burdens on businesses are reduced. He also emphasised the importance of greater investment in workers’ skills and training, more support for local enterprises as well as an economic policy that looks towards sustainability and innovation.
The PN Leader said that he wants an economy that continues to grow but which also places workers and families at the centre of its decisions. This will also be achieved through a concrete vision that creates a proper balance between work and life.
While outlining their proposals, the members of the Council of the Malta Employers also discussed a number of challenges being faced by employers, including the need for workers with the right qualifications.
For his part, the PN Leader, who was accompanied by PN candidates Graham Bencini, Jerome Caruana Cilia, Ivan Castillo, Beppe Fenech Adami and David Pace Ross, said that meetings such as these continue to strengthen the dialogue between the Partit Nazzjonalista and all partners so that our country can benefit from A Fresh Start in the economic and social sectors as well.
