About the MP

Whip and Shadow Minister for Sustainable Mobility

Ivan is married to Corinne and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He works in logistics at Enemalta. He was elected to Parliament in 2022, representing the 12th District. He serves as Shadow Minister for the Employment, Maritime, and Aviation sectors. He also served as Opposition Spokesperson for the Fight Against the Cost of Living and Social Dialogue.

His political identity is built on safeguarding workers’ rights, economic reform, cost-of-living issues, and governance of the maritime sector.

Previously, between 2019 and 2022, he served as Minority Leader in the Mellieħa Local Council. Beyond his parliamentary role, he was also active in the Nationalist Party’s worker-focused branch, serving as President of the Solidarjetà Ħaddiema Partit Nazzjonalista (SĦPN), a position he first assumed in 2016 and was re-elected to in 2020.
